Make a player an operator

An operator, or “op”, is a player who administers the server. They can change the time, teleport, give items, kick someone, or stop the server.

On Mineon, two clicks

1. The server must be running and the player must be online.
2. Open the Players tab and find them in the list.
3. Click Make op. The Operator tag appears next to their username.

It’s instant, with no restart needed. The same button becomes Remove op to undo it.

If the player isn’t online

Use the Console tab, which accepts server commands directly:

/op PlayerName
/deop PlayerName

By hand

Run the /op and /deop commands above in your server’s console.

One precaution

An op can remove the others. All operators are equal. Only give op to people you trust.
